Volumetric Wood is a satisfying block-stacking puzzle game that puts your spatial thinking to the test. You're working with richly textured wooden blocks rendered in a three-dimensional style, each painted in distinct colors. The goal is to sort and stack matching colored blocks on top of one another until the board is completely cleared. It sounds simple at first, but the stacks fill up fast and the arrangement of pieces quickly turns into a genuine brain teaser.

How to Play

Use your mouse to click on a block and select it, then click a destination stack to move it. You can only place a block on top of another block that shares the same color, or onto an empty slot if one is available. The board clears when every stack is sorted by a single color from bottom to top. Some levels give you a limited number of moves, so every decision counts. Keep an eye on how many empty columns you have left, because those open spaces are your safety net when things get tight.

Tips & Strategy

Before making your first move, take a moment to scan the entire board. Identify which colors are closest to being fully grouped and prioritize those stacks first. Trying to solve everything at once usually leads to a gridlock where no legal moves remain.

Treat empty columns like a temporary holding area rather than a permanent home. Parking a block there to free up a buried piece is a smart short-term trade, but if you fill all your empty slots at once, you can end up completely stuck with no way forward. Always keep at least one column open as a buffer.
