Variety Mecha drops you into a gritty futuristic warzone where you command an army of specialized combat robots against waves of relentless mechanical enemies. From heavy tank units built to absorb punishment on the front lines to nimble infantry bots that dart between cover, every unit type serves a distinct purpose on the battlefield. Drones, armored vehicles, and enemy spacecraft make up just some of the threats standing between you and victory across a series of increasingly brutal levels.
Use your mouse or keyboard controls to select and deploy different robot units onto the battlefield. Each level runs on a turn-based timer, so you need to issue commands and position your forces before the enemy gets their move. Assign offensive units to push forward and eliminate targets while keeping your defensive mechs back to protect your base. Weapons like laser cannons and plasma rifles are assigned to specific unit types, and you can activate special abilities such as shield regeneration or energy absorption by clicking on individual robots during your turn.
Never send all your units forward at once. Keeping at least one or two tank-class robots near your base will save you when enemy forces break through your front line unexpectedly. Pay attention to which enemy types are incoming each round and swap your active units accordingly rather than relying on a single formation throughout the whole level. Energy absorption is one of the most underrated abilities in the game — using it early in a tough round can keep your robots alive long enough to turn the tide when things look grim.
