Mini Guardians is a retro-styled castle defense RPG that puts you in command of a small but fierce army standing between your fortress and waves of relentless invaders. Inspired by the look and feel of classic 8-bit arcade games, it blends pixel art charm with genuine strategic depth, asking you to think carefully about unit placement and resource management as enemy rogues push harder with every round.

How to Play

Using your mouse or touchscreen, you deploy guardian units along the path leading to your castle gates. Each unit type has its own attack range, speed, and special ability, so tap or click to place them in positions where they can intercept incoming enemies most effectively. Between waves you earn gold from defeated foes, which you spend on recruiting new warriors, upgrading existing ones, or reinforcing weak points in your defensive line. The goal is simple: prevent any enemy from breaking through to your castle before they drain your health to zero.

Tips & Strategy

Prioritize upgrading a few strong units over spreading your gold thin across many weak ones. A well-upgraded guardian in a chokepoint can hold off several enemies on its own, giving your other troops time to clean up stragglers before they reach your walls.

Pay attention to enemy types before each wave begins. Some rogues move fast but have low health, while others are slow and heavily armored. Mixing ranged guardians with close-combat warriors lets you counter both threats without scrambling to reorganize mid-wave.

Save a small gold reserve rather than spending everything between rounds. Surprise elite enemies can appear unexpectedly, and having the funds to drop an extra unit quickly can be the difference between holding your castle and watching it fall.
